Lead API Engineer — CCC Intelligent Solutions (Remote)

July 2025 – present

• Producing the designs driving the modernization of CCC ONE's timecard module and setting its technical direction with engineering leadership — a migration spanning 100+ API endpoints across web, mobile, and desktop clients, inside a platform used by roughly 30,500 repair shops.
• Building the replacement services alongside the existing module and moving clients onto them endpoint by endpoint, now in active pilot with an initial cohort of shops, with full backward compatibility so every shop not yet in the pilot keeps running uninterrupted on the current system.
• Lead a five-person engineering team, mentoring the other four engineers and keeping API contracts aligned with the web, mobile, and desktop client teams consuming them.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) daily to speed up delivery across the team.

Senior API Engineer — CCC Intelligent Solutions (Remote)

July 2022 – July 2025

• Designed and built 8 cloud-native ASP.NET Core microservices on Azure for the CCC ONE modules my team owns — together processing approximately 45 million requests per month for 1,100+ collision repair shops and major national auto insurers across all 50 states, who rely on them for repair estimate configuration data.
• Partnered with web, mobile, and desktop engineering teams to deliver API-driven features for CCC ONE payroll, keeping contracts consistent across every client platform.
• Built an internal web portal (ASP.NET Core Razor Pages) giving implementation teams self-service diagnostics for customer configuration issues, cutting a common onboarding support request by an estimated 90%.
• Developed a Windows desktop application (C#, Windows App SDK, MSIX) used by roughly 4,000 insurance and repair-shop users to import and export estimates directly from CCC ONE Web — a capability the browser sandbox couldn't otherwise provide.
